Our Brasserie has been named as Dublin's "Best Hotel Restaurant" at the 2018 Irish Restaurant Awards! The coveted Irish Restaurant Awards or "Food Oscars" celebrates, rewards and encourages the achievements of restaurants, bars, cafés and culinary teams throughout the country every year. Over 1,000 industry peers attended the event on Monday evening at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road which was catered for by a team of chefs including several previous "Best Chef" winners.
To celebrate our award, we will be offering a complimentary bottle of wine to all those who book our Dinner B&B package! To book our overnight Brasserie package, please click here.
Chief Executive of the Restaurants Association of Ireland Adrian Cummins spoke at the awards and said: "On our 10th anniversary of the Irish Restaurant Awards, I’m delighted to report that this has been our most successful year to-date. These Awards are the accolades of the Irish restaurant industry and they celebrate only the very best that this country has to offer. From over 90,000 online nominations cast earlier this year to 3,000 guests attending our regional events, it is clear that the stature, calibre and reputation of the awards is expanding at a considerable rate and it is all in aid of highlighting the talent within our sector."
This is the second time our Brasserie has been crowned "Best Hotel Restaurant" after previously winning the same award in 2016. Chosen from a lengthy list of very worthy nominees, this award truly means a huge amount to the management and team at The Marker as a whole, and we are particularly proud of our service and culinary teams in their achievement. To have their passion and dedication recognised by industry peers is a huge honour. We look forward to continuing to provide our hotel guests and our friends in the neighbourhood with luxury service and unfussy plates of honest good food.
